There is a tremendous economic opportunity in protecting our world for future generations. We need to move away from the idea that rural people are going to carry the burden for our cities. We all share this country, we need our cities to do their part to preserve this nation.
We must make sure that developments, from dams to pipelines, have the consent of the people they will impact. That is especially true with projects on indigenous land.
The reconciliation must mean that they must be properly consulted and listened to before any project is development on their land.
We have the opportunity to come together, save our planet, and ensure a sustainable economic future for future generations!
